Solar Eclipse

A solar eclipse is taking place on August 21st and the best place to view it in Kingston will be at Confederation Park.

The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada Kingston Centre as well as members of the Queen’s and RMC Astronomy and Astrophysics groups are teaming up to give the best observation event possible.

There’ll be special glasses and solar telescopes at this free event to accommodate everyone wanting to view the eclipse.

They will be on site from 1pm-4pm with the peak eclipse occurring at 2:36pm.
