October 27th, 2014 is the big day – the 2014 Municipal election.
If you’re unsure who to vote for etc – the be st place to read is this facebook group: 2014 Kingston, Ontario Election Discussion Group.
That facebook group serves multiple purposes. The two main ones are:
(1) Links. Lots of great web links which cover surveys involving all candidates, as well as interviews with the candidates.
(2) The candidates themselves. They participate here and it’s in a much more casual, informal manner. You can get a real sense of a candidates personality.
Also for seniors and people with mobility issues – mayoral candidate Michael Mo J Owen is giving rides and attempting to work with local companies to donate their services for that day. For more information you can see his Facebook page.
Don’t forget to vote. Every vote counts, and we’re hoping for a big turnout!
