“AWAKENING” BY PENGYUAN WANG

This June, Kingston’s Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning is set to host an extraordinary art event, an exhibition titled “Awakening” by the globally acclaimed artist Pengyuan Wang. This two-part exhibition will occur from June 16-20 for the first part, and the second part from 21st to 23rd.
Pengyuan Wang, born in Beijing and now based in Canada, has garnered a reputation as one of the most innovative contemporary artists of our era. Wang, known for blending Eastern and Western aesthetics with an innate sensitivity, has always focused on humanistic themes and an exploration of the self, showcasing a philosophical discourse of awakening in each stroke and hue.
Educated in the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and later at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Wang has an impeccable resume that boasts numerous awards and critical acclaims, including the prestigious International Art Award in Brussels.
