From December 14th-16th, A Little Princess, the stage adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett’s children’s classic, will be performed at St Andrews Presbyterian Church .
It is being presented by Bottle Tree Productions.
It’s about Sara Crewe who was born in India and attends a prestigious private school for girls in London, England. It takes place in the late 19th century.
However her father dies and her fairy tale existence comes crashing down as she goes from being in private school to being an orphan and has no relatives or money. She is forced to work as a servant in the school with little rest or food, and without any pay.
However then a mysterious neighbour moves in beside the school bringing with him forgiveness, redemption and salavation.
This is a great Christmas story for the entire family.
