The esteemed Isabel Quartet has recently welcomed the renowned Canadian violinist, Katya Poplyansky, to its ranks, in lieu of the incumbent leader and first violinist, Laura Andriani. Ms. Poplyansky, who has garnered much acclaim for her virtuosity, has been appointed as the Concertmaster of the esteemed Kingston Symphony Orchestra. She boasts a rich history of accolades, including being a distinguished recipient of the Isabel Overton Bader Violin Competition prize in 2017, among other notable achievements.
