Space Hippo is a show created and performed by international collaborators Daniel Wishes from Canada and Seri Yanai from Japan. They have over 200 shadow puppets to perform the show and a score by composer Elliott Loran.
Space Hippo follows the story of an ordinary hippopotamus who is launched into outer space in order to save the world and has gotten rave reviews from a variety of reviewers.
There will be five showings of Space Hippo at The Grand Theatre:

- August 3rd – 7:30 PM
- August 4th – 2:00 PM
