Head to Confederation Park on January 21st, 2017 to Shine a Light on Mental Health.

Join the Girl Guides of Kingston in what is the darkest month of the year as they shine the light. This is to launch their new program Mighty Minds. Mighty Minds is a great program to help young women all across Canada gain knowledge and awareness on mental health issues, so that they can take action and change the world.

It begins at 5:30pm and goes until 6:30pm. There’ll be guest speakers and a symbolic candle lighting ceremony.

You can bring your own candle to light just be sure it can be safely lit and handled. This is outdoors so dress warm!
