Charlie Rosen of the 8-Bit Big Band put it best when he said that music written for video games has amassed enough of a body of work that we now truly have a contemporary songbook of standards, in the tradition of the Jazz or American songbooks. In this concert,Swedish video game music concert producer Orvar Säfström and the Kingston Symphony showcase some of the best video game music, with selections from Mario, Zelda, Final Fantasy, and much, much more.

This is a celebration of incredible music from the chip tunes of the Nintendo Entertainment System to the video game music of today!
