The DAN School of Drama and Music presents Not Wanted on the Voyage by Timothy Findley, adapted for the stage by Richard Rose and D D Kugler. Directed by Craig Walker alongside a talented team of over 80 students, the Winter Major will run from April 7th – 10th in the Isabel Bader Studio Theatre.
Not Wanted on the Voyage tells the story of the first time the world ended. Told through a mix of puppetry, live acting, and projections, the piece takes place both before the flood and aboard the ark. As a storm approaches on the horizon, questions of what belongs in the new world arise. It reveals the darkness on the edge of the human soul as the Noyes Family struggles among themselves to create a world in which they want to belong.
Please note that this play contains scenes of physical abuse and sexual violence and is suggested for audiences ages 17 and older.
