May 1st is May Day which you may also know as International Worker’s Day and it is an international anti-capitalist holiday.
All over the world there will be strikes, pickets and protesting taking place.
Kingston will also be having an event and it begins at Skeleton Park at 5pm on May 1st.
From 5pm-6pm there will be a free BBQ, and then at 6pm there will be a spirited march downtown.
