Market for Africa returns for its 12th year in Kingston on Saturday, November 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Crossroads United Church.
They will have a bowl of soup for lunch, and shopping for gifts from Africa and beyond. Items will include Grannies’ sewing, baked goods, hand made treasures, Christmas Crafts, recycled jewelry, art and fashion items.
Funds raised help African grandmothers who have lost their children to HIV/AIDS and are raising their grandchildren, through the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmother to Grandmother Campaign and Help Lesotho.
