Making Our Marks II Art Exhibition

Come check out artists Linda Coulter, Janine Gates, Janet Elliott and Peta Bailey as they present colourful new work. Works on display include textile art, art books, prints and oil paintings.

Coulter’s work uses hand stitching and raw-edge applique to reflect the waterways of Eastern Ontario in art that truly celebrates colour. Janet Elliott’s playful fibre art muses on science and technology and unlike most art that comes with a “DO NOT TOUCH” sing attached, her work includes several kid-friendly “please touch gently” pieces. Other interesting art includes Peta Bailey ecoprints paper that she turns into handmade books and Janine Gate’s landscapes and seascapes in felt, stitch and oil.

Drop by the Tett Gallery to view the art on display and make your own pamphlet-stitch travel journal with Peta Bailey to celebrate Culture Days 2018.
