Majesty: Canada at 150 is a concert presented by the Kingston Chamber Choir and is a tribute to the magnificent country of Canada, which is celebrating 150 years this year.
It features choral works composed by Canadians, diverse and vigorous as the country itself and will be accompanied by images from the SESQUI 2017 immersive 360° cinematic dome tour.
Featured works are A Winter Day by Sarah Quartel, Bawajigaywin by Andrew Balfour and also a piece by summer student composer Crescenzo Dicecco. Joining the Kingston Chamber Choir in concert will be The Caledonias, a Queen’s student all-female cappella ensemble.
Tickets are $25 regular price, $15 for 30 and under.
They’re available at the door, at The Church Book Room, Expressions Fashion Boutique and online at kingstonchamberchoir.ca.
