Isabel Quartet will perform Beethoven and Crawley on November 8th at The Isabel.

The Isabel Quartet is made up of: Laura Andriani, Julia McFarlane violins, Caitlin Boyle, viola, Wolf Tormann, cello.

All Isabel Quartet concerts this season open with one of Haydn’s Opus 20, String Quartets, with No. 2 in C Major on tonight’s program. Queen’s Emeritus Professor, Clifford Crawley (1929-2016), is remembered with his set of dance-inspired pieces titled, Quadrilles. Beethoven’s Op. 59, No. 1, String Quartet, a confident example of his middle-period brilliance, ends the concert.
