Classic Roots is a Bear Clan, Ojibway (Anishinaabe) from Long Lake 58 first nation. In this show, Classic Roots will exhibit social dances and share the cultural importance of their dance styles, techniques, and attire. Dance styles like Sneak Up, Crow Hop, and more will be taught. Classic Roots merges Indigenous rhythms with current techno and dance music. He uses positivity in his music and workshop to instill self-confidence among First Nation youngsters. Anyone is welcome to join in the dancing!
