The Baskets of Books Community Book Drive takes place in Kingston from January 27th through February 10th, 2017.

This is an annual event ran by the Queen’s Students for Literacy. The goal is simple – getting new or gently used books into the hands of children ranging from Junior Kindergarten through grade 6.

These benefit reading circles at women’s shelters and local community centres.

Books can be dropped off at the following locations:

– Chapters
– Minotaur
– Novel Idea
– Send in the Clowns
– Sipps
– Tara Natural Foods
– The Rocking Horse

There’s also a donation bin located on the Queen’s campus. You can find that at Room 215 in the John Deutsch University Centre.
