There will be two workshops presented by Kingstons ADHD Parent Support Group on October 4th, 2014. These workshops are for parents/caregivers as well as educators.
The workshops take place at 255 Kingscourt Avenue, Kingston.
The workshop starts at 9am and goes until 3pm. It costs $15 however lunch is provided for everyone, and there is a free book draw as well as lots of free information.
The first workshop is Autism ADHD: Pathways for Children and Youth, and the second workshop is Friends for Life: Canadian Mental Health Association.
There is also a presentation The Kingston New Mentality: Disable The Label.
The event has a guest speaker, Dr. Susan Buchanan of the Maple Family Health Team. Dr. Buchanan P.H.D. is an adjunct associate professor of psychology at Queens, and a clinical psychologist and educator.
