PBR Kingston Classic

Kingston, get ready for a wild ride! For the first time ever, the Leon’s Centre will play host to the heart-pounding excitement of professional bull riding. On June 5, the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada’s elite Cup Series brings the PBR Kingston Classic to your city. This historic event will showcase a thrilling mix of Canada’s top riders and international stars, all competing against the nation’s most formidable bucking bulls. The PBR Canada Cup Series, known for its high-octane action, will offer Kingston a unique experience of exhilarating 8-second rides and jaw-dropping wrecks. It’s an unpredictable and action-packed spectacle where courage meets power, as the riders face off against their massive 2,000-pound opponents in a test of skill and endurance.

The PBR Kingston Classic is a landmark event, marking the fifth stop of the nine-event regular season for PBR Canada’s premier Cup Series in 2024. Kingston is one of only two Ontario cities to host this prestigious series, with the other event taking place in London on June 1. This inaugural Kingston event follows a groundbreaking season for PBR Canada, where the Champion’s bonus was raised to an impressive $100,000, making the year-end National Finals a high-stakes showdown with a $250,000 prize pool. Last season saw the remarkable Dakota Buttar from Eatonia, Saskatchewan, clinch the 2023 PBR Canada Champion title, becoming one of the few riders in history to win multiple seasons. Despite a challenging season, including a broken collarbone, Buttar staged a remarkable comeback to claim the top spot. Kingston’s bull riding fans will not want to miss the chance to witness these athletes’ incredible talent and determination live at the Leon’s Centre, as they compete in one of the most exhilarating sports on earth.

The event is finished.
