Museum PA Day Camp
Looking for an exciting and educational way for your child to spend their PA Day? The Canadian Museum of Health Care is inviting young explorers to a full day of discovery, science, history, and hands-on fun at its Museum PA Day Camp on Friday, June 26, 2026.
Designed for children ages 6 to 12, this engaging camp offers a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating world of the human body and the history of health care through interactive activities, creative experiments, games, and real museum artifacts.
Throughout the day, campers will uncover the secrets of how the body works, learning about bones, organs, muscles, and the systems that keep us healthy. Along the way, they’ll discover how doctors, nurses, and medical innovators have shaped health care throughout history and improved lives around the world.
This is far from a typical classroom experience. Participants will have the chance to examine authentic medical artifacts from the museum’s collection, take part in hands-on health-themed challenges, and create fun projects to bring home. Every activity is designed to spark curiosity, encourage learning, and make science accessible through exploration and play.
Whether your child dreams of becoming a doctor, loves science experiments, enjoys history, or simply likes discovering how things work, this PA Day camp offers an exciting blend of education and adventure.
Hosted at one of Kingston’s most unique museums, the program combines learning with plenty of opportunities for creativity, teamwork, and fun in a safe and engaging environment.
Spaces are limited and advance registration is recommended.
