Lock And Kee Event
Lock & Kee: A Halloween Adventure Aboard the S.S. Keewatin
This Halloween, step aboard Kingston’s most mysterious ship and prepare to unlock a ghostly adventure unlike any other. On Sunday, October 26th, the Great Lakes Museum invites brave souls of all ages to experience Lock & Kee: A Halloween Event on the S.S. Keewatin — a thrilling evening filled with spooky puzzles, eerie clues, and haunted nautical hijinks.
The story begins with a maritime mystery: Halloween spirits have taken control of the historic S.S. Keewatin and locked the Captain out of the wheelhouse! Now it’s up to you and your crew to search the ship, crack creepy codes, and follow a trail of clues through narrow passageways and creaky decks in an effort to help the Captain reclaim command. It’s a puzzle-based adventure with just the right amount of fright and fun to keep everyone entertained.
Designed to be both challenging and family-friendly, this interactive experience is perfect for goblins and ghouls ages 5 and up (costumes highly encouraged!). Sweet treats await all who complete the mission. Each group will have 45 minutes to solve the mystery, so gather your cleverest crewmates and prepare to embark on a spooky quest through Kingston’s floating time capsule. Note: Due to the historic nature of the vessel, the ship is not wheelchair or stroller accessible.
