Purr-fectly poised and ready to strut their stuff, fancy felines from all corners of Canada are gearing up to compete for the coveted ‘Top Cat’ status at the much-awaited Kingston cat show. This grand event, sponsored by the Canadian Cat Fanciers’ Club, is set to take place on February 24 & 25, 2024, at the Portsmouth Olympic Harbour in Kingston, ON. From 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, over 100 pedigreed cats, representing a whisker-whirling array of over 30 different breeds, will showcase their unique charm and elegance. The show promises a spectacle of diverse breeds, including the majestic Maine Coon, the charming Scottish Fold, the hairless Sphynx, the regal Abyssinian, and many more well-known pedigreed cats from Siamese to Persian. It’s not just a catwalk; it’s a celebration of feline grace and beauty!

Opening its doors to the public, the Kingston cat show offers a meow-nificent day for spectators to admire these furry celebrities ‘up close and in the fur’ as they await their turn to dazzle the judges. Breeders, proud as a peacock…or should we say as proud as a Persian cat, will be more than happy to entertain queries about their beloved pets. If you’re looking to expand your feline family, many breeders will be offering kittens for sale. Additionally, a variety of vendors will be purr-senting an array of goods for both humans and felines to enjoy.
