Jeremy Fisher and Séan McCann: United in Song
Canadian singer-songwriters Jeremy Fisher and Séan McCann are joining forces for United in Song, a special evening of live music, heartfelt stories and audience singalongs at Arts Hub Brockville on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
Some musical friendships are forged on the road. Fisher and McCann first met in the lounge of a dusty tour bus parked behind an arena in Sudbury. Within minutes of meeting, the two musicians had guitars in their hands and were already writing their first song together. That spontaneous collaboration became the beginning of a friendship built around a shared love of songwriting, storytelling and connecting with audiences through live music.
Their last proper co-headlining tour took place in 2011. Now, 15 years later, Fisher and McCann are bringing the idea back to the stage with United in Song—a revue featuring some of their best-known and most beloved music.
Rather than presenting two separate performances, Fisher and McCann will take the stage together. They will trade songs, share stories and accompany one another throughout the evening. Audiences can expect acoustic guitars, Irish hand drums, tin whistles, memorable melodies and plenty of opportunities to sing along.
United in Song is also a deliberate act of joyful resistance. At a time when so much of everyday life is mediated by screens, algorithms and artificial intelligence, Fisher and McCann are making a passionate case for the enduring power of an authentic live performance.
