Health Adventures Camp

Ever wonder what’s actually inside your body? This summer, young explorers will have the chance to find out as the Canadian Museum of Health Care launches its brand-new Health Adventures Camp, an exciting week-long experience packed with science, discovery, history, and hands-on fun.

Designed for curious kids ages 5–12, Health Adventures Camp invites campers to step into the fascinating world of the human body through interactive experiments, creative activities, museum exploration, and real medical history. Over five action-packed days, participants will make their own (fake) snot, investigate bones and X-rays, peer through microscopes, create herbal remedies, care for patients at a Teddy Bear Hospital, and discover how doctors and healers have helped people throughout history.

Each day focuses on a different theme, allowing campers to explore a wide range of health and science topics while engaging directly with the museum’s unique collections and exhibits. Whether your child dreams of becoming a doctor, scientist, veterinarian, nurse, or simply loves asking questions about how the world works, this camp offers an unforgettable blend of education and adventure.

The program is divided into age-specific sessions to ensure an engaging experience for every participant. Families can choose between a morning session for ages 5–8 or an afternoon session for ages 9–12. Each session follows the same daily curriculum while providing age-appropriate activities and learning opportunities.
