Great Lakes Museum’s 50th Anniversary Celebration

The Great Lakes Museum is turning 50 — and you’re invited to the party!
On Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM, head to Kingston’s beautiful historic waterfront for a free, family-friendly celebration packed with activities, music, and community spirit.
Festivities include:
🎂 Complimentary Birthday Cake – Because no party is complete without it!
🎶 Live Music – Enjoy performances that set the perfect tone for a waterfront celebration.
🎨 Kids’ Activities – Fun, interactive, and designed to spark curiosity.
🍔 Local Food Vendors – Delicious bites for purchase from some of Kingston’s favourites.
As part of the anniversary, the Museum is offering a very special opportunity: 20-minute “Sneak Peek” tours of the S.S. Keewatin, the last remaining Edwardian-era passenger steamship in the world. Be among the first to step aboard and experience this piece of maritime history.

Under 5: Free
