DuffleBag Theatre’s Peter Pan with Bry The Magic Guy
Fly away to Neverland when DuffleBag Theatre and The Spire present a fun-filled production of Peter Pan, featuring a special magical addition from Bry The Magic Guy. This imaginative play for all ages takes place Saturday, October 10, 2026, in The Spire’s historic performance hall.
Wendy Darling is sad to discover that she is growing too old to remain in the nursery and must soon move to the adult wing of the house. Her ordinary life changes dramatically when an adventurous young boy offers to fly her to Neverland—a magical place where she can stay young forever.
Wendy is quickly swept into an extraordinary adventure filled with magical pixies, charming pirates and even talking trees. At the centre of the excitement is Peter Pan’s legendary struggle with his arch-nemesis, the fearsome Captain Hook. As their rivalry unfolds, DuffleBag Theatre brings J.M. Barrie’s beloved story to life with plenty of imagination, energy and laughter.
Children can experience the wonder of this timeless adventure, while the grown-ups accompanying them may feel like kids again. With its playful characters, exciting confrontations and celebration of imagination, Peter Pan offers an entertaining introduction to live theatre for younger guests and nostalgic fun for longtime fans of the story.
Adding even more wonder to the occasion, The Spire welcomes Bry The Magic Guy. For 15 years, Bry has amazed audiences with polished visual magic and skilful sleight of hand. His fun, interactive and engaging style of close-up magic transforms seemingly ordinary moments into miniature miracles. Guests will have the opportunity to experience his remarkable illusions as part of this special family event.
Gather the family and prepare for a morning of theatre, adventure and magic in downtown Kingston. From the first flight to Neverland to the final magical surprise, this all-ages performance promises memorable entertainment for children, parents and anyone who has ever wished they could remain young forever.
