The beloved Kingston Symphony Volunteers Book Fair is back this fall, offering thousands of titles across every imaginable category. From recent fiction and page-turning mysteries to biographies, politics, history, Canadiana, poetry, art, architecture, and more, this is Kingston’s ultimate destination for book treasure hunting.
Children’s literature, self-help, DIY guides, music, health and fitness, and military history are just some of the other sections you’ll find. For those with an eye for something rare, the fair also features a carefully curated collectibles section, where unique and hard-to-find gems are waiting to be discovered. Whether you’re after a hardcover edition of a classic, the latest paperback thriller, or a one-of-a-kind collectible, the Kingston Symphony Volunteers Book Fair has it all.
Want first pick of the best titles? Purchase an Early Entry Ticket for opening night on Thursday, September 4, 2025. For $25, you’ll gain exclusive access to the fair from 4:00–4:30 p.m. before the doors officially open. Only 50 of these coveted tickets will be sold. General admission at 4:30 p.m. that evening is $5 at the door. Best of all, entry is free on every other day of the sale!
More than just a book sale, the fair is also a major fundraising event for the Kingston Symphony, with every purchase directly supporting live music in our community. Run entirely by the Kingston Symphony Volunteers, this is a true community-driven tradition and a must-visit for anyone who loves the joy of reading.
