The Kingston Frontenac Public Libarys Central Branch is their main branch, and is located downtown Kingston on 130 Johnson Street.

There are ALWAYS events going on here. A lot that we don’t cover but events such as Family Movie Mondays, storytimes, puppet shows and many more shows. The majority of events are tailored for kids although there is events set up for teens as well.

There are a few special events that occur at the library that we will mention here.

For those who don’t know you can also rent video games at the library – including XBox One and PS4 games.

Research Stories to Inspire Generations

January 30, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

IGnite features stories of discovery from Researchers at Queen’s University that is meant to inspire. Their latest event takes place on January 30th at the Kingston Frontenac Library Central Branch. The event features free food, science demos and displays, and two short talks by Queen’s faculty. The speakers will give a short presentation on their area of study and what inspired them into this work. This event is free for all ages. For more information, please see the link below.
