Tett After Dark: Enchanted Forest Fundraiser

Something new is taking root at the Tett Centre this Halloween. On Saturday, October 31, 2026, Tett After Dark will transform the familiar arts hub into a living, spellbound forest filled with immersive installations, interactive art, performances and mysterious encounters.

Guests are invited to arrive in their most enchanting attire or whimsical Halloween costume, then wander freely through the building. Some experiences can be explored at your own pace, while others will unfold at scheduled times throughout the night.

Follow clues through a building-wide mystery created in collaboration with Improv Kingston. The Fairy Queen has been poisoned, and the culprit may still be hiding somewhere in the enchanted forest. Along the way, guests may encounter costumed characters, magical surprises and unusual experiences concealed around every corner.

Ironwood Sword School will present a Chivalric Tourney featuring historical martial arts demonstrations and hands-on activities. Visitors can also explore gallery exhibitions and installations, watch an artist create an enchanted-forest-inspired work during a live painting session, take part in creative activities or discover what the cards may hold during a tarot reading.

The evening also features an enchanted photo booth, a costume contest, food, drinks and a silent auction. As the night continues, a DJ will take over and invite guests onto the dance floor. Costumes are encouraged, with prizes recognizing standout looks that capture the event’s creativity and magic.

Tett After Dark is more than a Halloween celebration. It is a 19+ fundraiser supporting the Tett Centre’s accessible year-round arts programming, artist residencies, exhibitions and community initiatives.

General admission is $55 plus tax. Guests who choose the $75 Arts Patron ticket receive the same event access while making an additional contribution to the Tett Centre’s charitable mission.

Enter the enchanted forest, explore the Tett Centre as you have never seen it before and help Kingston’s creative community continue to flourish.
