Sips & Spirits: A Haunted Night at the Museum

This Halloween, step into the shadows of the Museum of Health Care for an evening of chilling tales, twisted history, and eerie encounters that will leave you questioning the line between science and superstition. On Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 6:00–9:00 PM, the Museum transforms into a haunting ground for one night only — and this experience is designed exclusively for adults (19+).
By lantern light, wander through the Museum’s historic galleries, where whispers of ghostly patients and long-forgotten cures linger in the air. Brave a series of hands-on challenges and interactive activities that test your courage and your stomach — think bloodletting, bone saws, and cures that were sometimes deadlier than the disease. Will you have the nerve to uncover the gory side of medical history?
Throughout the evening, spine-tingling ghost stories drawn from Kingston’s past will be shared, weaving history with horror. But don’t worry — Daft Brewing will be on hand, serving up craft drinks (available for purchase) to calm your nerves and raise your spirits. A soundtrack of hauntingly good music will fill the air, transforming the Museum into an atmospheric party space unlike any other.
With only 50 tickets available, this intimate and immersive event is your chance to experience the Museum of Health Care as you’ve never seen it before: alive with shadows, spirits, and stories that refuse to stay buried.
