Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre Mardi Gras Fundraiser
Let the good times roll — for wildlife in need. 🎭✨
Join Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre on Friday, February 27 from 5:00–7:00 PM at Beachside BBQ in Bath, Ontario for a vibrant Mardi Gras Fundraiser that blends celebration with compassion.
This colourful evening of community spirit, great food, and festive flair supports a cause that quite literally saves lives. Admission is by donation, and every dollar raised goes directly to rebuilding Sandy Pines’ aviaries, which are essential to the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned birds.
Here’s why your support matters: Sandy Pines receives no government funding. Not a dollar. Their work is sustained entirely through donations, bequests, and fundraising events like this one. And the need is enormous. Each year, the dedicated team at Sandy Pines rehabilitates over 6,000 wild animals — from tiny songbirds and owls to foxes, turtles, and other native wildlife. Every rescued creature represents hours of expert medical care, proper nutrition, safe housing, and ultimately, the chance to return to the wild where they belong.
The aviaries are a critical part of that journey. Birds must rebuild strength, flight ability, and endurance before release. Without safe and functional aviary spaces, that final and vital step becomes impossible.
So come celebrate Mardi Gras with heart. Enjoy the festive atmosphere, gather with friends, and know that your presence is helping wings heal and wildlife return home.
Reservations are required — call 613-352-0777 to book your spot.
Admission by donation. All proceeds support the aviary rebuilding fund.
Community makes conservation possible. Let’s show up for wildlife.
