Jessie Arthur Memorial Skeet Tournament
A day of sport, community, and giving back returns to Kingston this summer as the Jessie Arthur Memorial Skeet Tournament takes place on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the Kingston and District Trap, Skeet & Sporting Clays Club.
Held in memory of Jessie Arthur, who passed away from leukemia in 2008, this annual tournament honours her legacy by helping send children to Camp Quin-Mo-Lac, where they can experience the outdoors, build confidence, make friendships, and create memories that last a lifetime.
Organized by members of the local shooting sports community, the event brings together participants for a day of friendly competition while supporting a meaningful cause. Every dollar raised helps provide opportunities for children to attend camp and enjoy experiences that might otherwise be out of reach.
The tournament is open to anyone who holds a valid Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) and has access to a shotgun. Whether youβre a seasoned skeet shooter or simply looking to support a worthwhile community fundraiser, participants of all skill levels are welcome.
In addition to the tournament itself, the day will feature plenty of activities and opportunities to contribute to the cause, including raffle prizes, a barbecue, a lemonade stand, and community gathering spaces where participants, families, and supporters can connect and enjoy the day together.
Teams of five can register, and individual registrations are also welcome. Organizers encourage participants to register early to secure a preferred shooting time, as spots are expected to fill quickly.
More than just a sporting event, the Jessie Arthur Memorial Skeet Tournament is a celebration of community, generosity, and the lasting impact one person can have on the lives of others.
