Fort Fright at Fort Henry

Dare to enter the gates of Fort Henry this Halloween season as Kingston’s 19th-century garrison transforms into Fort Fright, one of North America’s top-rated haunted attractions. Running from October 3 – November 1, 2025, Fort Fright delivers an unforgettable, spine-chilling outdoor experience filled with creatures, monsters, and frights lurking around every corner.
Your journey will last 1–1.5 hours as groups of up to five wander through narrow pathways, ditches, tunnels, and historic spaces, encountering over 50 movie-quality animatronics, live costumed scare actors, and jaw-dropping special effects. From bone-rattling soundscapes to eerie lighting, every detail has been crafted to immerse you in the ultimate Halloween nightmare.
For the boldest thrill-seekers, Thursdays feature Dark Nights, where you’ll brave Fort Fright in complete darkness, with only a single flashlight to guide your way. It’s a heart-pounding experience not recommended for the faint of heart—or for young children.
