Gananoque & District Humane Society (GDHS) is a volunteer-run, no-kill animal shelter that serves the Town of Gananoque and the Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands – Ward 1. GDHS is not guaranteed any funding and heavily relies on donations, fundraising, and grants.
COVID 19 has forced GDHS to cancel or postpone many of their popular fundraising events. Money raised from this fundraiser will be used to help pay for the cost of food, shelter, medicine, and other medical treatment for the animals in their care.
