It was with great sadness that we found out in July of this year that Time To Laugh Comedy Club would be closing down.
We had tried to reach out to them in July for news about any upcoming events but the voicemails etc were full – so we knew something was up. Still, it came as a shock to us and it’s a real shame as we have great memories of attending Time to Laugh, from its location downtown beside the Howard Johnson to the current location of the Hub.
Time To Laugh is thankfully going out with a bang, not a whimper. They’re doing one final weekend event over the weekend of August 21st to August 23rd, and it should be a great time. This is a big weekend with 4 separate headliners.
We have Dave Hudson hosting the event, and then from Kingston, Ryan Dennee and Steve Dylan. Finally we have Arthur Simeon and K. Trevor Wilson who have been performing in Montreal for Just for Laughs.
Be sure to attend this special event – but by tickets early as we’re hearing this is going to be a sellout every night based on the buzz.
