From July 8th through September 2nd, be sure to head up to Fort Henry on one of the Wednesdays for the Sunset Ceremony.
This is an event no Kingstonian should miss. These award-winning Sunset Ceremonies are just fantastic to watch. You have the Guard Drums, Artillery Detachment and the Drill Squad all providing a story featuring big bangs and military music from the 1860s. There’s even a battle!
Rain or not – this is one event that will go on regardless. Good to know considering the rain this Summer!
It’s every Wednesday, which is July 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th, August 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th, and September 2nd.
It’s $17 per adult, $14 for seniors or 6-12 years and children below that are free. There’s tax on those, and you can buy your tickets online. There are also group rates if there is 15 or more people.
