Recital and Solo Recital by Paul-André Bempéchat

Paul-André Bempéchat, a renowned Franco-Canadian pianist and musicologist, has an impressive background, having studied at prestigious music schools like Manhattan and Juilliard, as well as Boston University and Sorbonne. His career has taken him all over the world, with appearances at major music festivals and philharmonics in North America and Europe. Currently a Fellow and Artist-in-Residence at the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Studies, he is also delving into research on the reception history of Beethoven’s piano sonatas. Classical music lovers will be excited to learn that Bempéchat is making a rare appearance in Canada, his first since 1992, after performing at Queen’s in 1982.
