A community fun day is being held on Saturday, August 29th at the Polson Park Free Methodist Church.
This church is located at 5 Miles Ave – pretty much on the corner of Miles Ave and Portsmouth.
The Community Fun Day is a family geared event. It goes from 9am-6pm and everything has a schedule. Here’s the list:
9am-4pm: West End Children’s Centre Open House
9am-1pm: Kid themed yard sale
10am-3pm: Pony Rides and a Petting Zoo
10am-4pm: Bouncy castles
10am-12pm: Dog agility Demo
11am-1pm: BBQ with hot dogs and hamburgers
12pm-4pm: Kingston Police Constable and Cruiser
4:30pm-6pm: Pig Roast
On top of all that, all throughout the day there will be other things to entertain the family like cotton candy, snow cones, face painting and a lot more.

Note that while admission is free, they are accepting both financial donations and non-perishable food item donations which support the Partners in Mission Food Bank.
