PGA Tour Canada: The Great Waterway Classic

If you’re looking to see some great golf, be sure to head to the Loyalist Golf & Country Club as the MacKenzie Tour / PGA Tour Canada come to town.

156 golfers will be playing for a chance to share in the $175,000 purse.

If you’re craving some golf action after the Open but have never been to an actual live tournament – you owe it to yourself to come check this out. There’s just something amazing in watching a professional golfer hit a 300 plus yard drive, and just how well they can dominate the course.

The schedule for the viewing public as follows:

Wednesday, August 26th: Practise Rounds.
Thursday, August 27th: 7am-9am the morning wave begin, and at 12pm-2pm the afternoon wave begin for the first round.
Friday, August 28th: The second round begins with 7am-9am and 12pm-2pm starts for each wave.
Saturday, August 29th: The third round from 8am-1pm. At 11am there will be the Craft Beer Festival, which goes until 4pm.
Sunday, August 30th: The final round takes place over 8am-1pm, with the awards ceremony following the final hole.

It costs $10 for a day pass, and 15 year olds and under attend free. If you get a pass for all four days, it’s just $25.

There’s also a special Clubhouse Pass you can get which is $150 and will gain you all four day access, plus access to the club house.
