Kingstons very first, and hopefully not last, street art festival takes place mid-August. This event will be close to downtown, at Doug Fluhrer Park just 5 minutes walk from Princess Street.
This great event will be transforming the current big eyesore of a wall at Doug Fluhrer Park into art. There will be live painting going on which you can go and watch – and it should be amazing to see these artists at work.
There will also be flash mobs, music going on and most likely other events like food and so on.
It is free and starts August 18th, 2014 at 9am ending August 24th, 2014 at 5pm. The main thing to be there for though is Saturday, August 23rd from 10am-4pm when the Celebration takes place. That should be the busiest and best day for this.
