Medical Memories is an event taking place every other Saturday in July and August. That’s July 8th, July 22nd, August 5th and August 19th.
It’s a hands-on exploration of the medical advancement in Canada over 150 years. You’ll get to learn about health care practises around the time of COnfederation, handle medical artifacts and even create and take home your own home remedy to a common ailment from the 1800s.
This event is recommended for ages 6-12 although accompanying adults are welcome. Pre-registration is required.
It’s from 10am-12pm at the Museum of Health Care.
