A great annual event in Kingston – is the New Years Eve K-Town Countdown.
It takes place primarily at the Rogers K-Rock Centre. The schedule for live entertainment is:
6pm: Interactive Drum Circle
7pm: Sonshine & Broccoli – Sing Along
8pm: Mike D’Urzo – Magic, Mind Reading and Illusion
There’ll also be arts and crafts, princesses, face painting and a photo booth.
The New Years Eve Skate party there begins at 5pm. Each one begins on the hour and you get tickets on the half hour.

5pm-8:30pm: Wagon Rides
9pm: Fireworks Finale. Best place to view is Confederation basin.
There’s also skating at the Market Square till 11pm and throughout the evening there will be live fire and LED Light shows.
Parking will be free in all City surface lots from 4:30pm onwards.
