Bill “Goldie” Goldthorpe, an immense hockey fighter in his day and the inspiration for Ogie Ogilthorpe in Slap Shot, is doing a book tour and will be stopping in Kingston.
His book is entitled The real Ogie! The Life and Legend of Goldie Goldthorpe.
Goldie will be doing book signings and a Q&A.
He will be at Jimmy’s Sports Lounge on Friday, April 19th from 5-9pm. That’s located at 2784 Princess.
Then he will be at The Mansion from 2-5pm on the Saturday.
