Garden Party

The Frontenac County Schools Museum is hosting a garden party! Spring has sprung, and it’s time to celebrate the season.
This kid-friendly event is open to everyone. No tickets or payment needed, but donations are appreciated

We’ll be organizing gardening activities inspired by real lessons in nature study and agriculture that students would have learned in one-room schoolhouses during the early 20th century. Come by to design your own school garden and plant a window box which you can take home and hang on a window or fence! We’re looking forward to a fun and crafty afternoon.

Ps. If you’re a true nature lover, feel free to also stop by Barriefield’s rock garden while you’re here. It’s gorgeous this time of year!
