Canada Day 2016

Canada Day in Kingston, the 1st Capital of Canada, is always a special time.

Here’s a list of the main things going on in Canada Day in Kingston – which takes place July 1st:

Canada Day Parade: the Red and White Parade will take place beginning 11:30am. It begins at Metro located at the corner of Barrie and Princess, and will then proceed down Princess St ending at City Hall which is on Ontario St.

Civic Ceremony: The Civic Ceremony will take place immediately following the parade at City Hall.

Beach Party: Head out to Grass Creek Park after the parade – or any time from 11am-5pm, for a Beach Party! There’ll be live entertainment, crafts for the kids, face painting, vendors and more!

Confederation Park Music: Live music from 2pm-10pm takes place at Confederation Park.

Canada Day Fireworks: end Canada Day with Fireworks! 10pm, and the best place to view them is usually Confederation Park.
